Who should attend this emergency first aid at work course?
You’ll find this course useful if your workplace has less than 50 staff, and is considered low-risk, such as offices, retail shops and restaurants. This first aid course is also ideal if you work in a large organisation with an individual who has already attended a three-day first aid at work course.
Please note, if you work in Forestry or the outdoors, then our First Aid at Work +Forestry course may be more suitable for you. The forestry first aid course includes elements specified by the Forestry Commission such as catastrophic bleeding, hypothermia and insect bites. Alternatively, if you are an outdoor practitioner or forest school leader, then our outdoor first aid course or forest school first aid course may be more appropriate.
What will I learn on the emergency first aid at work course?
On this course, you will learn what your responsibilities as a first aider are. In addition to this, you’ll also look at what first aid equipment you should have, and how to keep yourself safe when providing first aid. You’ll learn the protocol for dealing with casualties, and learn how to deal with unconscious casualties who are both breathing and not breathing.

Is this course accredited?
Yes, this first aid at work course is accredited by Qualification Network UK, who is an awarding body regulated by Ofqual. When you successfully complete this qualification, you will gain a QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF). This qualification is worth three credits, and you will need to renew it every three years by attending a two-day first aid at work revalidation course.

Assessment of learning is essential for checking your understanding and provides evidence of your knowledge. During the practical
