First Aid Course
Our Level 3 Certificate in Outdoor First Aid (RQF) is a 16 hour first aid course, typically delivered over two days. It has been developed to meet the first aid training requirements outlines by the institute of outdoor learning and also meets the requirements of most National Governing body award such as BCU, Mountain Training, BASI and IASI. Upon completion a successful candidate will gain a Level 3 certificate in Outdoor First Aid (RQF). This qualification is perfect for anyone working in outdoors environments, particulate those working with groups in the outdoor activities industry.
Our Level 3 Certificate in First Aid at Work +F (FAW+F) is delivered over three days and meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), most National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and the Forestry Commission. We deliver the first aid course over three days and successful candidates will gain a Level 3 Certificate in First Aid at Work+F (RQF) and a level 3 certificate in Outdoor First Aid (RQF). This regulated qualification is ideal for Forestry worked, outdoor instructors/educators, ski leaders, and individuals who require both a first aid at work and an outdoor first aid.
Our Level 3 Certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work +F (eFAW+F) is delivered over one day. It has been developed to meet the requirements of the HSE and the Forestry Commission. Upon completion a successful candidate will gain a Level 3 Certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work +F (eFAW+F). It’s ideal for the working on Forestry Commission land who require an Emergency First aid at work qualification with added forestry content.
Our Level 3 Certificate in Forest School First Aid is a 16 hour qualification delivered over 2 days. It is specifically designed for forest school practitioners and meets the requirements of the HSE, Forest School training providers, and many outdoor national governing body awards. It blends paediatric first aid course and outdoor first aid course to ensure that the candidate can deal with a wide variety of incidents. Upon successful completion the candidate will be presented with a Level 3 Certificate in Forest School First Aid (RQF).
Due Diligence for first aid providers
From October 2013 the Health and safety executive are no longer approving first aid training providers and first aid courses; the HSE has provided guidance on selecting a first aid training provider. At the Adventure Academy CIC, the offer qualifications regulated by Qualification Network UK (QNUK), who are an Ofqual regulated Awarding Body.
As a deliverer of regulated qualification, The Adventure Academy has a quality assurance system in place which assures the competence of our trainers, the content of our courses and robustness of our assessment material.
